This blog is everything Massage Therapy related! Currently this is a media project which has many connections to the themes presented in a professional identity of a Massage Therapist. The profession can be portrayed as positive due to many factors; this includes being knowledgeable and educated in their field, being an expert in anatomy and knowing the structures and functions of the human body, as well as being confidential, putting clients first, understanding techniques and having good communication.

This project is meant to change the way people portray Massage Therapy, and to show what it is we actually believe in. Tumblr is an easy way to access the diverse information that is available in relation to Massage Therapy and is presented in a fun and original way. This blog is intended for the public as well as students who are in the Massage Therapy program and people would like to find out more information about it. It includes information regarding Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics, different body structures and anatomy, varying Techniques that can be applied, Supplies that are affordable and useful in practice, home exercises that can be done, quotes from respectable people, as well as music and fun videos. MYTH: Massage is too expensive

The prices can vary depending on the clinic offering massage therapy. Most insurance companies cover massage therapy. Furthermore, therapy can be done in 30 minute, 45 minute, 60 minute and 90 minute segments.
